This is an MRC 501 HO Scale Throttlepack Train Control. It runs one train and has direction control, pulse power, and an overload indicator. It is a strong pack delivering 1.9 amps and has the pulse option. The reason for the pulse feature is better low- speed control, and it does work. In a sense, the pulses push the motor armature to help overcome inertia and friction.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. There are also rust markings on this item. This item has tarnishing spots on the throttle pack.
