Each Christmas Wellspring Capital, the parent company of Lionel, has a special commemorative car made with their logo to be given out as gifts. This is the one from 2002 and features the great USA Red, White and Blue color scheme with an American Eagle. Several of the stars on the car also blink from an internal light source inside the car. This car features blinking lights, diecast metal sprung trucks, diecast metal operating knuckle couplers, and metal wheels and axles. This boxcar requires a nine-volt battery which is not included for the lights to blink.
