HK Models 01F016 1/48 PBJ-1J Mitchell Bomber

Model Aircraft Kit

The HK Models 1/48 PBJ-1J Mitchell Bomber captures the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps adaptation of the famous North American B-25 Mitchell, a rugged and versatile aircraft that played a vital role in maritime patrol, bombing, and ground-attack missions during World War II. Designated PBJ-1J by the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps, these aircraft served primarily with Marine Corps squadrons in the Pacific, where they conducted strikes against Japanese installations, shipping, and fortified positions.

This detailed 1/48 scale kit recreates the PBJ-1J with finely molded surface details, an accurately reproduced cockpit and crew areas, twin Wright Cyclone engine nacelles, landing gear, defensive armament, and mission-specific equipment. The Mitchell earned legendary status for its durability, adaptability, and ability to operate from challenging forward bases throughout the Pacific campaign.
