Model Aircraft Kit

An unmistakable icon of early airborne warning and control, this 1/72 scale kit captures the imposing silhouette of the Lockheed EC-121 Warning Star in U.S. Navy service, complete with its signature dorsal and ventral radomes that defined a generation of radar picket aircraft. Derived from the Lockheed Constellation airliner, the EC-121 played a critical role throughout the Cold War, extending the fleets radar horizon and providing early warning coverage during tense periods such as the Vietnam War.
