Model Aircraft Kit

Capture an important chapter in experimental aviation with this 1/48 scale model of the Bell X-1B, the rocket-powered research aircraft developed to investigate high-speed flight and help advance Americas understanding of transonic and supersonic aerodynamics. Building on the pioneering X-1 program that produced the first crewed aircraft to officially exceed the speed of sound, the X-1B featured an improved wing design and an experimental reaction-control system for handling at extreme speeds.
