Derived from the F-15 air superiority fighter the Strike Eagle was designed for long-range high-speed interdiction without relying on escort or electronic warfare aircraft. It features a two-seat cockpit advanced avionics and a digital fly-by-wire system enabling precision strikes and deep-penetration missions. Powered by two Pratt & Whitney F100 engines it can reach speeds over Mach 2.5 and carry a wide array of weaponry including JDAMs laser-guided bombs and AIM-120 AMRAAM missiles. Its AN/APG-70 radar and targeting systems allow for day/night and all-weather operations. The F-15E has proven itself in numerous conflicts from the Gulf War to operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. Renowned for its durability speed and payload the Strike Eagle remains a critical asset for U.S. air power and continues to evolve with modernization programs.
