AK Interactive 35036 1/35 Type HY Public Service Van

Model Kit

After the end of World War II, the French brand Citron developed a series of simple, affordable panel vans and light trucks initially known as the Type H. Their distinctive design featuring an extended nose, rear-hinged suicide cab doors, low flat floor and extensive use of corrugated metal body panels. Only subject to fairly minor changes throughout the 34 years of production, they have become iconic due to the popularity of these vehicles, of which over 473,000 units were manufactured.

The reference AK35036 represents the panel van from the Type HY series as manufactured from the early 1964 to the late 1969, with a single windscreen, short chevrons on the radiator grille, vertical handle on the sliding door, and square rear window. Three variants of emergency lights are included. The decals contain markings for colorful vehicles used by firefighters, police, civil defense and a postal service company.

  • Over 120 plastic parts
  • Photo-etched fret
  • Rear doors and sliding door may be posed open
  • Decals for 4 painting/marking options printed by Cartograf
