Glencoe Models 6502 1/330 U.S. Navy Blimp

Model Aircraft Kit

Recreate a distinctive chapter of American naval aviation with this 1/330 scale plastic model of a U.S. Navy blimp. Lighter-than-air craft played an important role in American maritime operations, particularly during World War II, when Navy airships were used extensively for coastal patrol, convoy escort, reconnaissance, and anti-submarine warfare. The kit captures the characteristic elongated envelope, gondola, tail surfaces, and supporting structure of these unusual aircraft.
